I don’t go into weddings with definite plans for pictures. I have ideas, but they evolve minute-by-minute as the day unfolds. This composition was created on the spot, from a burst of inspiration. I was thinking “Grecian muses”. There was some Greek ancestry in the family, and that was influencing my ideas on the image-design. Grecian muses are usually portrayed in the ancient arts as being in a ring. So this group naturally seem to suggest that link, between the ancient world and the contemporary.
